From No. 200 to No. 1

TWICE’s first Billboard 200 entry was More & More, which spent one week at No. 200, the last position on the chart (Jun 13, 2020 chart). Six months later, Eyes Wide Open entered at No. 72 (Dec 19, 2020 chart).

The breakthrough came in 2021. Taste Of Love debuted at No. 6, and Formula Of Love reached No. 3 five months later (Billboard). Ready To Be climbed to No. 2 in 2023 (Billboard). With YOU-th then became TWICE’s first No. 1 album, on the chart dated March 9, 2024 (Billboard).

Between 1&2 held up best. It slipped only from No. 3 to No. 9, the only TWICE album still in the Top 10 in its second week (Sep 17, 2022 chart). Ready To Be was close behind at No. 11 (Apr 1, 2023 chart).

The No. 1 album fell further. With YOU-th dropped from No. 1 to No. 35 in its second week (Mar 16, 2024 chart), and it has 5 weeks in total (Billboard).

This Is For: the longest run

This Is For peaked at No. 6, lower than five other TWICE albums (Billboard). Even so, it has spent 16 weeks on the chart, more than any other TWICE album (Billboard). Ready To Be is second with 11 weeks (Billboard). Across all ten albums, TWICE has spent 58 weeks on the Billboard 200, the sum of the totals above (Billboard).

The Feels and Moonlight Sunrise each spent a single week on the Hot 100 (Billboard). Strategy is different. It entered on August 2, 2025, reached its No. 51 peak five weeks later on September 6, and stayed for 17 weeks in all (Billboard).

Strategy’s Hot 100 run began the week after This Is For debuted on the Billboard 200 (Billboard; Billboard). TWICE’s longest album run and longest song run both started in the summer of 2025 (Billboard; Billboard).

Strategy: the album and the song

Strategy appears on both charts, months apart. The Strategy EP debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 dated December 21, 2024 and stayed 4 weeks (Billboard). The song Strategy did not enter the Hot 100 until August 2, 2025, more than seven months later (Billboard). It then outlasted the EP on the charts, with 17 weeks on the Hot 100 against the EP’s 4 on the Billboard 200 (Billboard; Billboard).

What the record shows

  • Albums: a steady rise from No. 200 (2020) to No. 1 (2024) (Billboard).
  • Staying power: the longest album run belongs to This Is For, not the No. 1 album (Billboard).
  • Songs: three Hot 100 entries, with Strategy as the only one to last more than a week (Billboard).
